CLEANING

WHAT TO AVOID

Always avoid harsh chemicals, excessive heat or abrasive cleaning brushes. For metal and gemstones, refrain from sustained moisture. If storing for a long period, please keep the your pets pendant in a dry environment. We recommend the signature House of Hades pouch and gift box it arrives in.

PATINA REMOVAL

While some love the natural patina that develops over time, others like their pieces bright or simply a refresh.

It's recommended to have the pendant professionally cleaned and re-polished if desired, but there are also easy ways to maintain your pets jewellery at home using effective home remedies.

THROWS

CLEANING

WASHING AND DRYING

Wash gently at 30°C with similar colours, using a mild detergent. Avoid bleach and harsh cleaning products, which can affect the cotton fibres and woven colours.

After washing, reshape while damp and leave to air dry naturally where possible. The throw can also be tumble dried on a low setting. With time, washing and use will soften the cotton while preserving the character of the weave.

CLEANING

REMOVING DIRT

For everyday dirt, wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth. For muddier encounters, use warm water with a small amount of mild soap, then wipe away any residue with a clean cloth. Leave to air-dry naturally, away from direct heat. Do not machine wash or fully submerge the leather.

CONDITIONING

Once clean and completely dry, an occasional application of leather conditioner will help nourish the leather, restore its rich appearance and keep it beautifully supple.
